What is the Hurlingham Tournament?
This exclusive tennis tournament has been held since 1994 at the picturesque Hurlingham Club in Fulham. It is played on grass courts and is usually held the week before Wimbledon.
Several players use it as a warm-up event to Wimbledon including the likes of Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick and Andy Murray plus a host of tennis legends from yesteryear such as Tim Henman, Pete Sampras, Greg Rusedski, Boris Becker, Mark Philippoussis and crowd favourite Mansour Bahrami.
The Hurlingham tournament has one of the best sporting settings and the hospitality is exceptional with guests enjoying gourmet cuisine within the Champions Club. It is also attended by a raft of celebrities each year.
The Hurlingham Club was founded in 1869 and the magnificent Georgian Club house is set in forty-two acres of stunning grounds. Set on the north bank of London’s River Thames it is easily accessible by train, underground and road.
